Helix work with a broad selection of clients across the membership, not-for-profit and SME sectors

• CIWEM's website specification was for 2 sites. A main site for the public and their members, and an additional photo competition site.
• Their photographer of the year site had unique requirement to upload over 9,500 photographs by competition entrants.
• We built a bespoke application to upload, rename, resize and store the photos, creating lightboxes for the judges to view entries anonymously.

• The National body for UK Engineering Professionals, EngC required a polished, professional site creating a hub for its 36 member Institutions
• The website must have a vast amount of data available at all times, our cms enabled this without compromising the smooth running of the site.
• Their Academic Course Database (ACAD) required upgrading, data cleansing & migrating to MS SQL & integration to the new site.

• When iChemE decided to update their paper based membership application process they approached Helix to help them find a solution
• Helix worked closely with iChemE's IT department to develop a bespoke version of the SEAF online application system to meet their specific needs
• Now in place for more than a year, iChemE have seen an increase in the number of membership applications, and have since commissioned Helix to further expand the system

• An American In England Site required a clear message for a specific group of people.
• Designed by an American for her fellow countrymen moving to the UK, we created a cost effective, straight forward information based site.
• We incorporated adverts into the cms, giving the client the ability to seamlessly manage their corporate sponsors within their website

• IGEM needed to incorporate several key elements into their website, including both public and members only areas.
• The members area incorporates access to technical standards and a shop for both members and Industry affiliates.
• We adapted our flexible CMS framework to incorporate IGEM's specific needs, creating a flexible website offering excellent member benefits.

• Cibse approached Helix to help to reduce the time taken to process membership applications
• Helix interfaced the SEAF online application process with Cibse's database creating a streamlined membership process
• Since implementing the system, online applications are increasing daily and Cibse have commissioned Helix to further expand the system

• The SMF website presented us with an interesting challenge as it had 3 disparate target audiences;
• 1) General public - purpose & mission 2) Private members - CV upload, forum & networking 3) Recruitment Agencies - professional search.
• We created both a public site and an extranet site 1 area for recruitment agencies and another for members to maintain their privacy.

• Many National organisations now recognise the value of enhancing face to face CPD with on-line technology to meet their Professional Development needs.
• Helix worked with the Engineering Council to develop MyPath, an online CPD system enabling engineers & technicians to meet the professional engineering institutions' (PEIs') Codes of Conduct.
• Now implemented by over 18 Engineering Institutions, MyPath is a great example of Helix providing an innovative solution.
